Sky Paintings

McCormick produced 19 Sky Paintings in total, three of which were lost in a flood. Oil on linen they feature tightly realised clouds juxtaposed with heavy impasto brush marks. The remaining canvases are in private UK collections, with McCormick retaining the final artwork – Sky Painting 19.
