Trevor's Dream

Trevor's Dream is a reflection on suburban living. Christmas 2021 my family and I moved into our new house on the outskirts of Oswestry, a market town in North Shropshire. Whilst at once it feels suburban, walk down the road and you're into green fields and a very rural environment. Feeling somewhat content with this set up, I reflected on that moment.

Trevor is not in the painting but there's a glass of wine on the occasional table and a book that's mid-way though being read on the sofa. The work continues with the pseudo-naïve style that I had been developing over the previous two or three years.
